No. You describe what you want, the program does the cutting. If you like, you can fine-tune scenes afterwards.

Yes – with any recorder that saves MP4 or MKV. If your recording has several audio tracks (e.g. game and microphone separately in OBS), it detects which is which and mixes them correctly. You can then set game and microphone volume separately.

Yes. When you make clips longer, shorter or remove them – while watching your video or by dragging in the timeline – it remembers that per clip type and cuts your next videos that way. It needs a few corrections before it changes anything, and you can reset it in the settings.

Why does it download something on first start?
Warum lädt es beim ersten Start etwas herunter?
The AI models (about 5.8 GB) are downloaded once from the official pages of their makers, so the installer stays small. Every file is checked; your videos are never uploaded. Without the models the program works too – just without AI.
Die KI-Modelle (ca. 5,8 GB) werden einmalig von den offiziellen Seiten der Hersteller geladen – so bleibt der Installer klein. Jede Datei wird geprüft; deine Videos werden nie hochgeladen. Ohne die Modelle funktioniert das Programm auch – nur ohne KI.

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) is all you need. A graphics card from AMD, NVIDIA or Intel with a video encoder makes everything much faster; without one the processor does the work, just slower. The optional AI director needs a graphics card with at least 8 GB VRAM. Simply try the free trial – it shows right away how fast it runs on your PC.

How long does the analysis take?
Wie lange dauert die Analyse?
It depends on the length of your recording and your hardware. With a modern graphics card the analysis is usually much shorter than the recording itself. You can keep using your PC in the meantime, and the program shows how long it will take.

Can I choose how long the video will be?

Yes. By default the length follows your footage – a kill compilation with two kills becomes a short clip, not a padded 10-minute video. If you want a specific length, just set it or write it into the director (e.g. “10 min”).

Yes. Windows shows this warning for programs from new developers that are not yet signed with an expensive certificate. Click “More info” → “Run anyway”. The installer comes directly from us via GitHub.

Everything else keeps working: analysing, choosing and trimming scenes. To export more videos, enter a license key – no reinstall needed, your settings and projects stay.
